Endure Against The Age

            One of my hobby is shopping at traditional markets. Like as shopping at 'Pasar Legi Kota Gedhe'. This market has been 400 years old. King Mataram Islam in Java has established this market before establishing his empire.

             This market is open every day, but crowded only once every five days, in 'Legi' day at the Javanese calendar.

            Here we can buy a variety of purposes ranging from agricultural products, vegetables and fruits, clothing, handicrafts, traditional foods and  snacks. Also sold start from farm equipment until 'mobile phones'!.
For a hobby decorative plant and maintain birds are also available. Also traditional toys for children.

 

            One of the reasons that made ​​me always visit the traditional markets of this kind is the friendliness and genuine smile from the sellers. You will not find this in the supermarket moreover in the hypermarket!.
