Labeling

Dulu saya memiliki kebiasaan memberikan label sebanyak mungkin untuk satu artikel yang saya buat. Tujuannya ya biar papapun kata kunci yang diketik dalam mesin pencari google, berharap smua artikel saya ikut terindeks. Tapi setelah akhir-akhir ini banyak template baru bertype galeri dengan penemuan script2 baru, kebiasaan saya tersebut malah jadi bumerang. Pernah sekali saya memakai template Johnny Light Banget yg telah sedikit saya modifikasi biar tidak hanya dipakai untuk review film, beberapa gambar muncul berulang-ulang di halaman depan. Tentu hal tersebut sangat mengganggu keindahan tampilan beranda blog. Belum lagi kejengkelan para pengunjung blog karena meski telah mengklik label yang berbeda-beda, akan tetapi yang muncul artikelnya tetep itu2 terus.

Akhirnya saya memilih merombak semua label artikel saya dan saya beri satu label menurut kategori, misal label culture, yang artinya keseluruhan tulisan tersebut dalam garis besar membahas soal budaya. Apalagi sekarang udah ada widget yang bisa menampilkan per katagori/ label lengkap dengan thumbnail nya dibagian paling atas seperti yang saya pasang di blog ini. Jadi mulai sekarang kita harus bijak menempatkan label untuk sebuah artikel yang kita buat. Mempercantik Blog dengan Desain Instan

Bagi sahabat yang ingin mempercantik blog dengan huruf maupun tombol dan logo untuk header dan lain-lain seperti yang sering saya pakai di blog ini, bisa berkunjung ke Cool Text. Mungkin Anda kurang pandai dalam mendesain atau tidak memiliki banyak waktu untuk membuat desain sendiri, bisa memanfaatkan desain instan secara online.

Banyak sekali situs semacam itu, tetapi saya lebih suka Cool Text karena variasi yang beragam, kualitas gambar dan warna yang bagus, sangat mudah dalam mengerjakan desain, dan file hasil desainnya pun ringan dan free (penting ini!!). Sebaiknya alamat situs Anda bookmark karena mungkin sobat akan sering kesana untuk berganti-ganti desain grafis. Hasil desain Anda bisa di download ke komputer untuk kemudian di-aupload ke blog. Anda bisa login ataupun tanpa login (aq sich seringnya nggak login dulu...xixi..ngaku'). Dan jangan lupa kalo sering-sering ke sana, sesekali klik iklannya dunk, biar umur situs itu bisa awet. Blog for Online Shop (part 6)

Step by step to replace the standard template with a template from third party (this guide for new bloggers).

A. Choosing a template.

Because title of this article is 'blog for online shop', so you can type keyword (for example) 'free template blogger for online shop' into google image search. For example, click here. If you want a simple template with no shop cart, you can choose a template with gallery design, for example click here. You also can choose a template with other common forms by typing the keyword 'free template blogger'.

If you have found a template that meets your taste, its better if you see demo / live preview in the first before you decide to download it.

B. Extracting zip file from the template that you downloaded.
1. Find the template file that you downloaded.

2. After you find it, right click and select 'open with' -->winzip/7-zip/ZipItFree (I use ZipItFree), then left click.

3. The process you can follow like below;

4. Click ok only if you're not connected to the internet when extract file process.

5. You select a file with the extension '. xml'. If there are two, choose one that has greatest ratio. Then click extract, its processes such as below;

When finished extracting the file, then close your ZipItFree.

6. Open the file that you extract before and copy-paste to desktop in order to facilitate your next job.

Up to here you have a template that is ready to upload to replace your blogger standard template. How to do it, I will cover in the next post.

Blog for Online Shop (part 5)

If you want to change your blogger template with blogger templates from a third party, you must have a software to extract files. Why? because mostly templates from a third party that are stored in a 'zip' file. For users of Windows, you can use Winzip. But if you do not have WinZip you must install it first. Winzip can be downloaded here (not free). Also you can use other software with similar functions such as 7-zip or ZipItFree for example. You can download 7-Zip (free) here. I use ZipItFree and you may download it (free) in here. How to install it very easily. After you have finished downloading zipitfree, you looking for a file with extension '. exe' (for example; zipitfree.exe) and double-click. Then follow the installation process.

Blog for Online Shop (part 4)

I often blogwalking, in addition to promoting my blog, as well for simple research. One thing that often makes me a little annoyed is that blogs are putting too many posts on the home page. Especially if a lot put a picture and do not use "read more". Loading into such blog takes long time. No matter if you use unlimited internet package. But you will spend allotment bandwidth, if you use Internet packet on volume base or time base.

Actually, for such that template can use gallery templates. I found a nice template called White Magic. The template is very light and fast enough when loaded the blog. This might be a solution. If you want to see the demo please click here. Or please download directly to the source here or here.

Blog for Online Shop (part 3)

I will assume that you are a new blogger or you want to sell anything through blogspot. Once you use a standard template of blogger, immediately switch to a kind of template that designed to sell something. Many free templates like that we can use. You can find them at the google search engine or click here. If you are confused to select them, I recommend to choose templates (free) from (click) Mas Kholis. Although the template for free, but looks very professional!...and also lighter.

Using a free template?. No problem for us who learn to online selling for the first time. In some case studies I have ever read, free template sometimes outperform other professional template that heavier. Your blog will be faster found in google search engine. Especially templates from Mas Kholis are SEO friendly.

Note:
Generaly blogger templates for online shop that are equipped with a shopping cart linked to Pay Pal. Not all currencies can be used for transactions on Pay Pal. If you do not have a Pay Pal account or your country's currency is not included in the list of currencies in Pay Pal, choose a template online shop without a shopping cart feature. As an example here.

Blog for Online Shop (part 2)

For them who want to sell their creations through the blog, there are two alternatives that you can do:

You can create 2 blogs as i have done (as well as many others bloggers). One blog for write about any articles (I'd suggest for write some articles that linked to something that you want to sell, look at an example for demo). And one blog as a gallery for your craft or whatever you want to sell them. But this will drain energy and time. Especially for you who do not like writing. You should look for visitors for read your writing, and then expect these visitors to see your gallery. It's a waste of time.
You just create one blog only. This way you will be more focused. You do not need to create articles that are meant to entice people for visit your blog and then find the content of your storefront. You can more concentrate for upload photos of goods which you want to sell and provide information to taste (do not forget to include the price). It would be better if you have pictures of how the item was made. See an example for demo, or you can see my friend's blog demo here.

Blog for Online Shop (part 1)

This time I will discuss something that is rather serious. There are many reasons people make a blog. Here I just want to discuss about making a blog to promote of creations / goods / services of our own products. I have visited many blogs and web blogs that have reviews about tips of selling through a blog. There is a line that I could conclusion , the essence of them:

"You could not selling through a blog directly!. If you sell something openly on the blog, visitors will immediately run away". Lots of blogs that give tips like that (of course ... a lot of bloggers just copy and paste on the article like that!).

Frankly after two years I joined the blogger .... I have another view, which is different from most of the bloggers who gave tips on doing business / selling through a blog. Remember!, My opinion is not necessarily entirely true, but the opinions of other bloggers about the strategy of selling through a blog, you can not necessarily apply it. Anyway most of those who make such posting does not have its own merchandise but to rely on revenue from ads clicks.

Currently I can not yet say that i am a successful businessman through the blog. I made a new shop online of less than a month yesterday even though I've started blogging two years ago. That happen because i follow some tips which spend so much time. Some times I found blogs that are actually intended to sell, even many who stopped in the middle of the road and eventually terbengkelai. I've also ever got a little desperate. Alhamdulillah!when I started focus on selling via a blog since last month, there are good responses.

Against Cancer (Part II)

I've shared stories about my husband's experience of battling cancer. For those of you who have not read it, please click here. Now I want to share stories about the experience of sister- in- law against the cyst, myoma, and cancer in cervix.

II. Experience of my sister-in-law

1. When still in college, sister- in- law had breast cancer surgery. The one of her breasts should be lifted.

2. She married at the age of 39 years in 2006.

3. After 4 years of marriage and pregnancy has not happened, she went to a gynecologist. Results of ultrasound examination showed there is malignant of cancer in the cervix. Doctors recommend immediate surgical removal of the womb. But the sister-in-law would not give up so easily. She still wanted to get pregnant and have a child.

4. She decided to drink herbal therapy. Herbal beverages that she drank, among others, Turmeric White, Nest of Forest Ants , Black Tea and Mahkota Dewa Tea.

Note:

Black tea has the effect of lowering blood pressure, this tea is not suitable for people with low blood pressure.
Forest Ants Nest is not recommended drunk by women who are pregnant!.

5. After five months, she went to the hospital. From the results of the examination, she declared to have recovered from the womb cancer.

6. She followed herbal therapy for fertility for 1.5 months, and then she got a first pregnancy.

7. Unfortunately, the fetus was dead when the pregnancy lasts 3 months. The reason was presence of myoma in her womb. The fetus was not getting enough food supplies because the supply of food had been taken by the myoma. She was forced curette.

8. In order to eliminate myoma, she drank stew nest of forest ant diligently. Forest ant nests are sold in markets and traditional medicine shops.

9. A few months later she got pregnant for the second time.

10. The pregnancy included of pregnancy with high risk. Because in addition to age, physical condition, also myoma that has not been entirely lost.

11. Finally, she underwent a cesarean section on January 11, 20 011. In addition to a beautiful baby girl, also lifted the myoma that weighs almost half the weight of the baby. Today, my sister-in-law and her baby are very healthy.
